ARTAX should be specified when the exhibit needs shaped, focused light rather than a simple round beam. It is suited to artefacts, sculptures and display walls where adjustable focus, shutters or gobos help control the illuminated area and reduce spill onto surrounding surfaces.
- Recommended mounting height: about 3.0–5.0 m for museum rooms; verify final illuminance with IES/LDT files
- Recommended target distance: close-to-medium throws for display cases, sculptures and vertical exhibit panels
